Tollywood actor-filmmaker Vishnu Manchu is leaving no stone unturned to make his soon-to-release mythological magnum opus, Kannappa, a memorable milestone in his career. Also starring Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal in prominent roles, the high-budget pan-India biggie is gearing up for its theatrical release on June 27, 2025.
Vishnu Manchu had earlier announced a grand promotional tour in several major cities across the USA. The actor kicked off the tour on a grand note on Tuesday with a promotional event in New York. Vishnu interacted with Telugu NRIs and talked at length about Kannappa. The actor will not head to cities like New Jersey, Dallas, and San Francisco for the next round of promotions.
Veteran actors Mohan Babu and Sarathkumar, Prabhu Deva, young actress Preity Mukundhan, and others will be seen in crucial roles in Kannappa. The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, while the music is composed by Stephen Devassy. Vishnu produced the movie under his AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory banners.
