AR Murugadoss’ recent outing Sikandar, headlined by Salman Khan, was a big disaster at the box office. Though the film highlights a good point, it has been narrated in an unexciting and outdated manner, because of which people could not connect. The director’s next release is Madharasi, an action thriller featuring Sivakarthikeyan.
According to the buzz in Kollywood circles, Madharasi is expected to hit the big screens on September 5, 2025. Filming will be completed this Summer, and the promotional campaign will begin soon. Sivakarthikeyan fans are a bit worried due to Sikandar’s result, and we need to see if the director can prove his mettle with Madharasi.
Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, and Madharasi marks her Tamil debut. In an interview, AR Murugadoss stated that Madharasi would have a unique element linked to the hero’s character, like that of Ghajini. Vidyut Jamwal plays the baddie. Anirudh is the music composer. N. Srilakshmi Prasad is bankrolling it under Sri Lakshmi Movies.
