Natural star Nani along with Rana Daggubati took part in the talk show Nijam With Smita. Recently a promo of the actor’s episode was released by the OTT platform SonyLIV. During this, Nani made some comments on nepotism which were misunderstood by a few.
Nani said that the first film of Nani was watched by 1 lakh people, whereas Ram Charan’s first film was watched by 1 crore. Nani added that it is the audience who encouraged nepotism by watching the films but not the Telugu film industry. Nani stated that he doesn’t understand when people say there is a high level of nepotism in the industry.
These words by Nani were taken in another way, and a few started commenting on the actor about the same. The show’s host, Smita, has clarified what Nani said. Smita said, “Nani actually meant that the audience is encouraging nepotism and added that it is not like something wrong is happening within the industry.”
Nani never said that what the audience is doing is wrong, said Smita. Nani said whatever is happening, and he isn’t wrong, concluded Smita. The pop singer added that there is no need to make it a controversy.
